Project LitIndia
Today, millions of children in India cannot access quality education, which is a major bottleneck in the path to making India a developed nation. The literacy rate decides the development rate of any nation. Therefore, literate and civilized citizens are the greatest assets to the country. The literacy rate in a country is determined by several factors, such as the education system, the availability of books and other educational materials, and the amount of time spent reading. Due to COVID 19 even urban area students needed a virtual platform to continue their education for two years. This Digital means can be used for the upliftment and giving access to quality education to the less privileged children.
The world is changing faster than ever. It is important to prepare for the future and make sure that our generation is ready for it. We need to be equipped with the knowledge and skills that will help us become successful. This is where our LitIndia centers come in. Through our LitIndia project we would like to eradicate illiteracy completely from India as well as digitize the education sector. We endeavor to provide quality education to the children of rural areas digitally through the establishment of Digital Virtual Learning Center (DVLC). This will not only inspire and empower millions to transform their lives through education and training, but also help create a better, brighter future for India.
We propose to establish One Nodal Center at DEO, in Aurangabad district of Bihar which will overlook the work in 5 Panchayats by creating Digital Virtual Learning Centres. The project proposes to incorporate the technology used for mitigating the education problems by providing the necessary multimedia teaching tools to children from the age groups of 3-18 by means of learning methods wherein the digital tools are utilized like tablets, LCD screens, videos, smart videos and more so everyone can learn different concepts through online classes. Through the nodal centers the mentor can deliver information remotely across different locations and so interactive digital media can support the children in improving the quality of learning. Each Centres will follow the NCERT and SCERT online curriculum for students to improve their quality learning. The curriculum will be based on different age groups: 3 to 6 years, 6 to 10 years, 10 to 14 years, and 14 to 18 years.
